About Hotshot DFW

Hotshot DFW was founded on a simple principle: high-value assets require specialized care. Chuck saw a gap in the transport industry where generic carriers were handling exotic cars, custom builds, and critical freight without the necessary expertise or equipment.

Chuck has long been associated with the specialty car world, having run a professional fabrication shop himself for several years. His start in the technical world stems from working in "speed shops" in high school, through aircraft mechanics school, and working with several aircraft manufacturers.

With a professional background spanning manufacturing quality, operations management, supplier quality, process design, and logistics, our founder, Chuck McClain, brings a level of precision to transport that is rarely seen in the industry.

The automotive passion runs in the family; one of his sons operates a busy hot-rod and restoration facility in Norman, Oklahoma. The other owns an insurance agency in Southlake, Texas that can facilitate coverage tailored to specialty automotive requirements. We understand exactly what is involved in building these vehicles, which is why we know exactly how to protect them.

From secure, personalized service automotive transport to dedicated hotshot freight and automotive logistics consulting, we are relentlessly committed to precision and reliability, which remains unchanged.

Operating out of a private car club storage facility in Grapevine, TX, which houses over 125 specialty vehicles, we are centrally located adjacent to DFW Airport, enabling rapid response across the metroplex.
